I'm a blogger with a passion for making alternative investments more understandable and accessible to all. My blog is about helping investors navigate the world beyond stocks and bonds — from hedge funds and private equity to real estate, commodities, crypto and more. I spent my career at some of the largest asset management firms in the in the industry, helping investors build their knowledge of alternative investments and understand how they can play a role in portfolio diversification. Along the way, I was honored to receive the Financial Communications Campaign of the Year Award from PR Week Magazine in 2008 for my work in hedge fund education. I’m a proud graduate of Marist University, and I started this blog to continue doing what I love: breaking down complex investment topics into insights that are clear, useful, and empowering.
